The Wyvern is a 45-foot Hunter Sloop with a spacious center cockpit, built in 1997.

The spacious deck and cockpit offer everyone a spot for their favorite pastime on passages or at anchor. Sit on the deck and sunbathe, watch the dolphins ride the bow wave, enjoying the scenery as it glides by or gazing at the stars at night. The cockpit, with its comfortable cushions and pillows provides the perfect shaded spot for reading, dozing, watching sunsets, or casual meals. The cockpit is our favorite "room" on the boat for relaxing with our favorite drink in the evening after a full day of sailing, beachcombing or snorkeling.

Below, the ample salon with its large dinette seats six comfortably for dinner or game playing. If needed for additional sleeping quarters, the settee converts to a large queen size berth. Besides providing additional seating the port settee also doubles as a single berth. These berths are great for the children if you decide to bring them along. The salon has a television and DVD player so you may bring a favorite movie or watch local stations if we are within range of network broadcasting. Or listen those island tunes or your favorite music on the stereo with CD and Ipod capability.

The aft cabin with a queen size centerline berth and temperpedic topper allows our guests to relax in exotic comfort with a glimpse of the stars through the open hatch above. Six opening ports invite in the sea breeze while you slumber to the gentle sway of the boat at anchor. A number of lockers, including two hanging lockers provide ample storage for clothing and gear. And the L-shaped settee offers comfortable seating at the make-up dresser/desk for making those travel diary entries. Besides having its own private head (bathroom), the aft cabin also has a separate shower.

The forward cabin with a double size berth and temperpedic topper is available for a second couple if your charter party includes additional guests. But, normally your hosts will use these quarters while you are aboard. The forward cabin also has its own private head. The three opening hatches in the forward cabin and head provides ample ventilation. A small settee provides seating.

The U-shaped galley has all the amenities necessary to prepare those sumptuous meals, including a freezer and refrigerator to store all the yummy ingredients. Across the boat from the galley is the navigation station with seating for charting, the autopilot, and other miscellaneous supplies such as binoculars and conch horn.
